Andreas Papallas is a trained architect, researcher and educator with a focus on sustainable urban development. He is currently pursuing a doctorate at the University of Oxford and holds appointments as a special scientist at the Cyprus University of Technology and the University of Cyprus. Andreas holds an MPhil in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Architecture from the University of Sheffield.

In his architectural practice, Andreas serves as an Associate Director, overseeing the feasibility, concept, and design team for a variety of projects. As such he has been a consultant to the National Technical Chamber on a number of occasions regarding the improvement of the architecture and planning industry. He has contributed to a number of initiatives over the course of his professional practice and academic life including a six year service as an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Architects Association.
