Eight datasets relating to the research carried out in Cyprus as part of the TWIN2EXPAND project. were released through the Society and Urban Form (SURF) Research Lab’ s Open Knowledge Portal on Zenodo. These datasets were used to perform research research on the project’s case studies of the Pedieos Linear Park, as well as on related projects such as “Optimizing Accessibility to Citizen Services in Cyprus Through Evidence-Based Planning“. The datasets include:

1. The segmented street network of Nicosia (4 datasets: motorized and non-motorized street network; manually-edited and automated street network). These models were used to assess the validity of automated and performance of the automated street network model: a pre-print paper is available reporting the results of the comparison between the automated and manually edited models.
   • Non-motorized manually-edited: A dataset containing spatial and attribute data for non-motorized segmented street network, based on Open Street Maps and edited based on the basic representational principles of Space Syntax Methodology.
   • Non-motorized automated: A dataset containing spatial and attribute data for non-motorized segmented street network, created using the Cityseer Python packages (https://github.com/benchmark-urbanism/cityseer-api/).
   • Motorized manually-edited: A dataset containing spatial and attribute data for motorized segmented street network, based on Open Street Maps and edited based on the basic representational principles of Space Syntax Methodology.
   • Motorized automated: A dataset containing spatial and attribute data for motorized segmented street network, created using the Cityseer Python packages (https://github.com/benchmark-urbanism/cityseer-api/).
2. Curated bus routes and bus stops (Cyprus): This dataset contains spatial and tabular data on bus routes and bus stops across major cities in the Republic of Cyprus, including Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol, Pafos, Ammochostos, as well as data for the Pame Express rapid transit system in Nicosia and the Intercity Buses network.
3. Curated building footprints (Cyprus): This dataset contains a unified, curated collection of building footprints for the Republic of Cyprus, derived from open-access cadastral data provided by the Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS) through the Cyprus Open Data Portal and the INSPIRE geospatial services.
4. Citizen service centres, citizen centres and post offices (Cyprus): A dataset containing spatial and attribute data for Citizen and Services Centres, and Post Offices in Cyprus.
5. Pre-primary, primary and secondary schools (Nicosia): A dataset containing spatial and attribute data for educational facilities in Nicosia (pre-primary, primary, secondary, and technical schools)
