The discussion explored opportunities for collaboration on housing challenges and the strategic allocation of public land in Cyprus. Particular emphasis was placed on how spatial analysis, evidence-based planning approaches, and data-driven tools can support more informed decision-making regarding housing provision, land-use strategies, and the development of public assets.
The meeting highlighted the value of closer cooperation between research institutions and public authorities in advancing analytical tools and knowledge that can support more strategic, transparent, and evidence-informed planning practices.
