The University of Cyprus is inviting applications for a full-time 30-months postdoctoral-level position at the Society and Urban Form Research Lab (SURF) at the Department of Architecture in Nicosia, Cyprus. You will be placed at the research lab and be part of a team of researchers that collaborate in the project TWIN2EXPAND on evidence-based urban design and planning. Within this project, the researcher is responsible for the development and integration of exiting spatial models, KPIs and tools focusing on the social-economic impact of urban interventions. The models will use important indicators for social and economic performance such as centrality, accessibility and density. Furthermore, the Postdoctoral Researcher will compare cities using these models and investigate the use of and challenges with evidence-based urban design and planning (EBDP) in the different planning contexts.
