Is associate professor in Urban Design and Head of Program Architecture at Chalmers University of Technology. Her work has its base in urban morphology with a focus on quantitative spatial analysis. Since 2014, she leads together with Lars Marcus the research group SMoG that in recent years conducted large scale comparative studies including a pedestrian survey, teaches a research and analysis driven studio in urban design and system thinking and developed tools for spatial analysis such as PST. In 2021, Meta published a revised edition of the successful book Spacematrix. Space, Density and Urban Form, written together with Per Haupt.
